The Department strives to impart quality education and training in the field of Computer
Science and Information Technology so that the students are equipped with the necessary Software,
Communication and Leadership skills to face the Challenges to the Software Industry.

| B.TECH PROGRAM |
The CSE program blossomed in the year 1991 with sibling IT initiated in the year
2000 to cope with onslaught of IT revolution.
The 4 year B.
Tech program includes general engineering education and core computer science
education with courses such as Discrete Mathematics for computer Science, Formal
Languages and Automata Theory, Data structures and algorithms, Analysis of
Algorithms, Compilers, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Database Management
Systems, Computer Organization and Architecture, Software Engineering, Visual
Programming, Multimedia, .Net , UMl , Network Programming etc. The assessment, including
projects in examinations, is continuous and these labs are a constant hub of
activity.

The Programme Educational Objectives of the under-graduate programme in Computer Science and Engineering at
G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College (Autonomous), Kurnool are to prepare graduates to possess the ability to
I. Analyze Design, and Develop high-quality software systems using the appropriate theory, principles,
tools and processes.
II. Solve problems in a team environment and effectively communicate with their peers, customers,
supervisors, etc through both written and oral means.
III. Apply engineering processes and practices to software components and systems
skillfully and efficiently and
IV. Demonstrate professionalism in their work and embrace
lifelong learning.

The Program outcomes of the undergraduate program in Computer Science and Engineering at
